Lady Gaga Dognappers Caught
Five people have been arrested in connection with an incident several months ago that saw Lady Gaga’s pets violently kidnapped.
The dog minder, Ryan Fischer, was walking three of the “Poker Face” singer’s French Bulldogs – Gustav, Koji and Miss Asia – on the night of 24 February along Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
Three suspects – men of the ages, 18, 19 and 27 – then accosted Fischer and shot him before running off with Gustav and Koji. Miss Asia managed to escape but returned to the wounded Fischer.
The pooches were allegedly found by 50-year-old Jennifer McBride two days later tied to a pole some distance from where the incident took place, after hearing of the $500 000 reward for their return.
Police have now arrested the five suspects, including McBride, and 40-year-old Harold White who is in a relationship with her, and is the father of one of the men involved in the crime.
According to reports, the men are confirmed gang members, and the three younger culprits are to be charged with attempted murder and robbery by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
